e-Statements

What is GenFed’s ‘No Mess’ paperless eStatement? It is a more secure, less wasteful way to receive your statement each month.

Every month you’ll receive an email notifying you that your current eStatement is available. Log into GenFed’s HomeBanking at www.genfed.com to view it and balance your checkbook at the same time.

Instructions for signing up for GenFed's new eStatements, Notices and Alerts:

  1. Log into HomeBanking as you have done in the past, using the same member number, security question, answer and password as before.
  2. When on the page that displays account(s) and balance(s), click 'Accounts' and then 'eStatement'.
  3. As long as there is an email address entered for your account, you are all done and will start receiving eStatement notifications at the beginning of every month. If there is no email address entered, one must be entered in 'Personal Info' under 'Options' to sign up for eStatements.

Once completed, you will be asked if you want to receive account notifications from GenFed via email. If yes, click the box next to 'Account Notifications' then select if you would like to receive these notifications by email, text or both and the select 'Update'. If you still wish to receive paper notifications, click 'Skip this Step'.

You will not have any eStatements available to view until the beginning of the next month when statements are generated.
