Who Can Join GenFed ?

GENFED IS NOW OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY.

GenFed membership is now open to anyone who:

• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships in Lorain County, Ohio.
• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships in Summit County, Ohio.
• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships in Erie County, Ohio.
• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships Medina County, Ohio.
• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships in Williams County, Ohio.
• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships in Paulding County, Ohio.
• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships in Marion County, Illinois.
• Resides, works, attends school, volunteers or worships in Jefferson County, Illinois.
• Resides or works in Shelby County, Indiana.
• In addition to the those above, employees and their families of the business listed on our Company Lists under 'Join GenFed' are eligible for GenFed membership.

Because GenFed Financial is member-owned, membership is exclusive. Only members have access to outstanding low loan rates, top investment rates, low fees and specialized services.

How to Qualify for Membership

GenFed Financial membership is also available to employees and employee families of GenFed partner companies and organizations. If you work for a GenFed partner company or are an immediate relative of or living with someone who does, you may also qualify for membership. See a full list of partner companies by clicking on the 'Participating Company List' to the right.  Additionally, GenFed membership is available to anyone who lives, works or worships in a county where we have a branch and Erie County, Ohio.

Yes!   My employer's name is on the list or I am an immediate relative of someone who works for a company on the list of GenFed's Partner Companies or I live, work or worship in in a county listed above.    Please send me the membership application and further details so I can join.

What if your employer is not listed or you don't fall under the community qualifications?

Be sure you check with your relatives – are their employers on the list? If so, they may sponsor you to become a GenFed member. Contact your relative to get started. If your relative is not already a GenFed member, don’t worry, you can still join, just contact us directly.

ARE YOU A BUSINESS OWNER?

If you own your own business, you may be able to not only benefit from membership yourself, but offer ANOTHER perk to your employees!   There is no charge for you to offer GenFed to your staff.   Plus, your staff will see you as an employer that cares about them.   Contact your local branch to get started. 

Are you an employee of a company that is not on the list?

If you work for a company that is not on GenFed’s partner company list, we still may be able to help, just give us a call.
