Trevor has helped me on more than one occasion. He has gone above and beyond to help me understand what opportunities the credit union and participating credit unions can offer to me while I am out of town. Having the ability to make a payment or withdrawal while out of town has made life much easier for me. He has also gone out of his way to help me find phone numbers for an automatic payment that was coming out of my account but I honestly could not remember when the payment started or how to reach the company to whom the payments were going. Trevor was immediately willing to help me figure this out and give me the phone number of the company just by looking them up online. That kind of peace of mind is hard to come by. But he did that for me I will be ever appreciative for this unexpected kindness. This kind of service is one of the reasons why I've had an account with GenFed for 25 years and though I have not lived in Akron for many years is one of the main reasons why I continue to keep my account at GenFed

I need to give a big shout out for an excellent job helping my husband and myself with our refi on our mortgage
Tacy Bolen did a fantastic job for us. I am soo pleased I want to pass along info for someone to know what a valued employee she is for Genfed. We went to 3 previous lenders and all were a disaster I was just about to give up when Felicia from Avon lake recommend Tacy… and she did help convince me to give it a try even though I think I was reluctant due to the history on my process. We’ll Genfed showed us why being members is soo worth it… I have recommended you 2 x already just because of this process. Tacy was efficient, friendly…. I say this Because I might have been a bit nervous at first. Her understanding of what I had already dealt with was inspiring and kept me calm through the process. She was so efficient on communication back and forth and the turn around time was actually unbelievable for us. The process was quick and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.
Please acknowledge her and the team because honestly they are a great part to Genfed!!!

I just wanted to give a big shout out to all the folks that work at genfed in Mount Vernon. I recently had an issue where my ATM / debit card was skimmed and there was almost $1,800 worth of fraudulent charges that were put on my account. I contacted Genfed yesterday morning (Tuesday) at the local Mount Vernon branch office. Within a couple of hours, I was on a very lengthy phone call with their fraud department and the company that the charges were made against. Genfed was true to their word. Every last single dollar that was fraudulently charged has been returned and refunded back to my account.
In my opinion, they are definitely a financial institution worth investing in.
