Mobile Banking Update for iPhone/iPad (iOS 3.31.2)
Available Tuesday, March 3
We’re updating how you log in to make it easier and more secure. You will be given the option to use your phone’s built-in security — like your PIN, fingerprint, or Face ID — to access the app. We highly recommend turning on your phone’s screen lock now, before Tuesday’s update, so your login experience is smooth and fast. Using your device’s built-in security is the safest and quickest way to access your account, and keep your phone and data safe as well. When the update happens, you’ll simply choose the option that works best for you.
The First Time You Open the App After the Update
You’ll see this setup the first time you open the app or after the app update.
Choose How You Want to Unlock the App
You’ll be asked to pick one of these options:
Option 1: Use Face ID, Touch ID, or Your Device Passcode (Recommended)
Unlock the app using your phone’s built in security.
This is the fastest and most secure option.
Best for: Most users
Option 2: Use an App PIN
Create a 4 digit PIN just for this app.
You’ll enter this PIN each time you open the app.
After 5 wrong PIN attempts, you’ll be signed out and will need to sign in again.
Best for: Users who don’t want to use Face ID, Touch ID, or a device passcode
Option 3: Skip for Now
This option has extra security limits.
Best for: Temporary use only
Quick Tips for a Smooth Experience
Face ID or Touch ID is the easiest and safest option
Always use a device passcode on your phone
If you use an App PIN, choose something easy for you to remember—but hard for others to guess
